FS: 2013 E92 Silverstone DCT Comp Pkg

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 29,900.00

Item Interest
Price adjusted to $29,900

Up for sale is my 2013 E92 M3 Competition Package. Honestly, this has been one of my favorite cars in a large collection over the past 20 years, the feel, the balance and the smooth power completely justify the M3’s reputation. I’m selling it because some other things need to take financial priority for a little while. I’m not desperate to sell it, I am reasonable but please no lowball offers.

I’m very open and honest and will answer any questions and any potential is welcome to have a PPI done locally at their expense, as I did before I bought the car. Here are a few facts and features:

It’s Silverstone II with Fox Red interior. It has a sunroof, the CF look is a very nicely done wrap from the previous owner. For me, it’s the perfect combo as I love a sun roof here in SoCal and the I love the CF look, and the weight difference really makes no noticeable difference for my level of driving.

It’s a DCT with lightning fast shifts.

The audio system is BMW’s highest-end system, I forget what it’s called because it wasn’t that important to me, but it sounds great and has HD radio. It has Bluetooth connectivity to your mobile device as well.

It has the premium package with comfort access, the technology package with nav, front/rear parking sensors, retractable side mirrors and a retractable rear sun shade.

It has new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, they’re a great performance tire. They’re mounted on brand new 19" (the Comp Package size) aftermarket powder-coated wheels, the OEM wheels just looked ragged and I didn’t keep them.

It has new drilled brake rotors and new performance pads all around, as well as new Motul high-temp brake fluid.

All other fluids were also recently replaced with high-temp performance Motul.

It has a CF rear deck lid spoiler.

The seats, leather, trim, and overall interior are in superb condition, practically like new.

Every control and system works as it should, except that the rear sunshade just went up last week and seems to be stuck from going down. The motor still works, I think the folding arms just got stuck- I’m going to look at it this weekend. That’s it.

I had the car gone through a second time when it arrived earlier this year with my BMW specialist and any issues he found (there were very few, a seeping valve cover gasket and replaced an O2 sensor) were taken care of.

I have taken the car to Willow Springs only once and didn’t push it very hard. It performed amazingly on the track and is quiet and smooth on the street. It spends most of the time in the garage- another reason I've decided to let it go.

There are no rattles, squeaks, or any other noises (except for the high performance brake pads which squeal when warmed up, as hi-perf pads do), no pulling or alignment issues, there is nothing mechanically that needs to be done to the car.

There is a small ding on the driver’s side from someone’s door in a parking lot (it drives me crazy even though it’s minor) and some small hairline imperfections on the rear bumper paint, as well as some minor scuffs around as you would expect on a car with 88k mi (actually a lot less than you'd expect). I’m sure most if not all of it can be buffed out, I just never have.

A previous owner (second before me) was a mechanic and states he did the rod bearings, I have a parts receipt and photo. My own mechanic observed that the oil pan seems to have been removed and replaced. There have been zero issues with the RB or with the actuators. I know this is a big concern when shopping these cars as it was for me, I felt comfortable purchasing this one, had it inspected twice, and it drives perfectly with no issues. If properly maintained this car should stay running well and hassle-free for a very long time.

There were two accidents that showed up on the Carfax when I purchased it, the previous owner stated that one was a front and one was a rear low-speed bumper collision. Both had been repaired. My mechanics found no issues with either and I have experienced no issues, the bumpers and paint were repaired as they should be.

I have plenty of walk-around, start and drive videos that I can email or text, just DM me. If you’re local, I highly encourage you to drive the car and see how nice it really is. If you can find a better condition E92 out there for the year and money, I would definitely consider it. Thanks for looking.

Nice car, you shouldn't have any issues getting it sold for that price either. Good luck
