Unfortunately not. I was asking as my intention is to fit one.

I just wanted to enjoy the car through different stages. I've started with bringing it back to near new stock, now OEM plus, next is Eventuri intake system, engine rebuild to 4.6 litre and then finally harrop supercharged. If they were discontinuing it I would source it sooner and store it for later.

I don't sorry, I am keen to put one on in a year or 2. I'm trying to go through each upgrade and experience it before swapping it out. Waiting on my carbon Plenum from Haimus racing currently, they are in the process of making their elbow as we speak and keen to get one of those fitted too.

They have a client going through the R&D process with them for a track car build, may be something for you to keep an eye on. https://haimusracing.com/collections/e92-m3

First company I have ever seen make a power gain out of their plenum design.

I'm so happy they are still making them, personally their design is the most aesthetically pleasing and something that is extremely important to me.

Are they not supposed to be developing a version 2?

I heard something was in the works but atm I think they are just playing catchup with all the backorders, I was told there is over 20 orders for the m3 and its all back logged.

is it true that power delivery is more progressive/linear with the ESS than with the Harrop being positive displacement?

I just don't like the look of the ESS SC in the engine bay

What functions are you referring to exactly because from the research I have done the ESS will perform better over longer distance at higher speeds, however the Harrop is better at low end tork. I have looked into how they are built and they are obviously extremely different, with more localised support with Harrop (I'm in melb), to me its the better choice for every day (less track). I certainly welcome your view on them and all the SC options, especially if your view opposes mine.
