Anyone DIY one of these? I can't find the install instructions anywhere on-line and I'm wondering if I could install this myself.

Same process as the Voretch supercharger kits. I have a PDF if you want to send me an email to Kevin@europeanautosource.com

I don't have experience with any superchargers. Can you direct me to the Vortech kit instructions? My car is my daily so I need to be sure I can handle the install before I undertake this as a project. Thanks!

The instructions aren't great, sometimes there's just pictures and no captions and vice versa. There's little things you can do for prep without taking the car off the road.

For instance You could pull the fender liners front bumper and install the heat exchanger, front pump and do the mods to the front end one night and run the wire and splice into the ecu. Put the front bumper back on and use the car until you have a full day to do the rest of it.

Hey Andrew,

I've seen a few post about running small E blends. Are you still running E17 regularly? I've heard some people running even more. I spoke to ESS and basically got a "E10 max" aka pump gas only.

I'm currently running 92oct and VP100 blend. Would be much cheaper to run a gallon or so of E85 instead.

FWIW, I have a VF650 kit and I have been running 91 with 1.5-2 gallons of E85 in every tank on a 91 Oct BPMSport blower tune for 18 months now. Car runs perfectly and AFRs were right where they were supposed to be when I dyno’d at EAS, as the ECU can adjust to hit the correct AFR targets with that small of an amount added. Any more than that and you’ll likely want to up injector sizes, add an additional fuel pump, and tune accordingly. Hope that helps!

We've dynoed a few here. They make some good tq numbers, but lacking somewhat in the hp department.
