Best electric pressure washer for the money
Looking to step up my game on cleaning my car with a foam gun and a few other things around the house.

I got the Sun Joe SPX4000 and it's been pretty solid. Only issue I've had is due I think to the water pressure at my house. Sometimes it pulses on the higher pressure setting. But even the low is good for all the automotive cleaning jobs I do.

Get a Comet Static 1700 and upgrade it with an MTM gun and foam cannon.
https://www.obsessedgarage.com/produ...tic-1700-extra I can get a good amount of thick foam with lots of dwell time. Here's some pictures... I got lazy and decided just to do a touch less wash on two of my cars today... foam then rinse the blow dry with an Ego leaf blower. Pair it with spotless water system to get extra thick foam and spotless rinse. |

A good unit for that price doesn't exist.

FWIW - Obsessed Garage recently spec'd out a budget pressure washer. The base level is in your price range although OG wants to sell you upgrade packages to improve functionality - so that can add up.

Got it delivered today and immediately started using it. So far, so good. Thank you for the help! |

Make sure to run it with the power off to ensure all of the air is out of the system before turning the pump on or it will sputter and cause premature wear to the pump. Enjoy! |

I just got that ryobi 1600 psi electric pressure washer and very happy with it. Its strong enough for washing cars. And only $79. Best money I spent lately. Btw I got foam cannon also from auto zone with coupon came to $40 and works like a charm.. I am a kind of guy hate to wait with ordering online and if I want something I want it right away..

Considering this after getting the Griots foam cannon.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenworks-...her/1003196492 Currently using a Ryobi 2000psi 1.2 GPM. Would like a little more flow/ cleaning power….

Like others, I have the Karcher Washer (without the wheels)I like the fact that I can just grab it and take it anywhere around the house. its very portable and has a very long cord. I added the quick connections and I opted to go with (2) 25 foot quality rubber hoses instead of (1) 50 foot hose. Most of the things that I do with it is within 25 feet. If I need to wash the car, I just add the second hose to the quick connection.
Like most, I also upgraded the handle and lance to something of better quality as well. Just level-set your expectations with it. While its GREAT for a foam cannon, washing the car and smaller jobs around the house, its not my primary Gas powered pressure washer. I have a Simpson 3200 for larger tasks such as the house siding, cleaning the concrete around the pool, the driveways & sidewalks. Good luck with your purchase..! |

Another vote for adding the quick connections to whatever system you have, makes setup and clean up significantly faster.
I have the Ryobi model everyone mentioned and agree it is good for car washing and other small tasks, but doesn't have enough power for larger jobs, at least not efficiently. I also upgraded the hose to 50' of better quality. Overall I am probably in for ~160-175 I would guess between the power washer, connectors, hose, etc.

Just be sure you get one that not only has decent pressure, but also a moves a good volume of water.. I had a 2300psi 1.2gpm electric washer - the pressure was decent, but the volume of water was just way too low. Ended up going back to my Simpson gas washer. (3300psi @ 2.5gpm). Would love to have just one electric washer that could serve to do my cars and general household stuff, might have to take another look at what's available nowadays.
Obsessed Garage has a great video on various electric pressure washers. |

Can't go wrong with a good 'ol SunJoe. There's a guy selling them super cheap on eBay. Open box, or damaged box, but the SunJoe is in good shape and new. Under $75
