This is my hesitation from doing one of the Alibaba ones. I know there is a few of the valved ones that offer closed, 25% open, 50% open, and 100% open. I like the optional variability there.

That gain makes no sense. It should be more than double those numbers... Damn.

Why? It's his data, just pointed out how low his numbers were compared to test pipes.

back on topic. personally no different from the two, power gains probably the same, might even lose power tbh from what I've seen on dyno sheets. i would rather just wait until the CV19 is over and order from alibaba. or just buy valved mufflers from varex

Hi guys, for who is interested i bought on august 2019 the chinese Bomiz/Valvetronic on alibaba, direct from the company called GRWA Exhaust.
I pay 670$ for the exhaust + 270$ of shipping with fedex in Italy. The seller write on the invoice a little value so i pay only 50$ of duties. It took them about 1 month to do the exhaust and 5 days for shipping. For the price i think it's a very good valved exhaust. good manifacturing, easy installing and good sound imho. This is the only photo i have at the moment Last edited by casettaz; 05-17-2020 at 08:31 AM.. |

Please do! That would be a massive help. Are the valves vacuum actuated or electric? Only open or closed or is there percentages of open?

ill provide my opinion too.
Bought the factory direct "valvetronic" from GRWA on Alibaba in January and have been running it since. The sound and quality is great, and i have no complaints. The valves are electronic and the receiver box comes equipped with a cigarette lighter plug in. I did eventually hard wire this to the fusebox with a fuse tap. Another interesting feature is the remote can be paired to the homelink mirror, so instead of having the finicky remote on hand at all times, I've simply paired the open button to position 2 on the mirror, and closed to position 3. Position 1 is of course my garage door at work. |

Curious about the latest vacuum ones and how the design might differ. Valvtronic mentions a difference in sound compared to the V1 with the electric flaps. Hopefully they show up on alibaba soon.

I made a little video this morning with my dad. I thought it was better to tell the truth, but I decided to upload it anyway in link-only mode.
The camera (Sony rx100 M3) reproduces the audio fairly faithfully but does not point out much the difference in decibels that is perceived in reality. With the valves open, it is much louder than what you hear in the video. For those who asked if there is a percentage of opening of the valves, the answer is no, they are all open or they are all closed. On the remote there is an "auto" button but it doesn't work, in my opinion only because they are universal remote controls, even because the central unit of the valve doesn't have any link with the car ecu. The car in addition to the exhaust has only a k&n drop-in filter. Last edited by casettaz; 05-23-2020 at 06:59 AM.. |

Looks like that particular version of the Valvetronic X-pipe doesn't have much of a crossover. Their newer design has a full Xover just like the Bimmerworld X-pipe. Would be curious to see the difference in HP between the old and new version.
