Hey guys, based on all of the recommendations and all of the places I've called around to, I think this spot is perfect for the alternate. Phil's BBQ in San Marcos. It's close by Stone Brewery (in the event we go to the alternate) and close to HRE (for those that want to stop by their open house).

From the yelp reviews it looks like they've got great food and a fun atmosphere. They also serve beer and wine. What else could we ask for?

Nice pick!! And Phil's BBQ is one of the best BBQ places in SoCal

And the prices are super reasonable, service is fast.
