So nissan is offering extended warranties on these? My biggest concern other than the high maintenance cost is blowing a $24,000 transmission. If I coudl get a use one that was covered until 100k I'd think about getting one, selling before warranty was up of course.

Haven't been on here in awhile, but chimed in on a local thread. Thought I'd show some pics of the beast I took. Still absolutely loving this machine after 6 months. Can't think of another car I'd rather have under $100k. Not a daily driver anymore, but I drove it today!

Nice. Is the ride harsh? If I had the money I'd probably do the same trade.

Neighbors has one of these... one word - FAST! The acceleration and power is ridiculous. The 2012 GRT's are even faster...

Great choice!

^^Troll, and a hater.

OP, I really do envy your GTR. A buddy of mine in Socal once gave a ride in a semi-modified GTR. Wow, what a rush. The pure acceleration of that beast was unbelievable in conjunction with HKS Ti exhaust. It turned heads everywhere we went, especially with the females.... Congrats with your beautiful GTR.... Any performance plans anytime soon?

Love the earlier post comparing engine problems on a 2003 Altima with the GTR!

Maybe .. just maybe.. they are 2 rather different vehicles?

Been lucky enough to drive one of these on track - and the one thing i know is i can never own one of these as i wouldnt have my licence for very long if i did!!

Phenomenal machine.

Change the Y pipe for not much money and its even better.

Actually the Altima and the GTR use the same chasis, while the engines may be alittle different the car basically rides the same.

GTR has it's own chassis, nothing is shared with the Altima.
