My driver's side did the same. Gonna switch back to the original lights Oh well, it was cool while it lasted.

Yes, I noticed this too. The transparent slide itself seems to get burned up and fade over time.

I got a spare set of new slides but unless they use some kind of heat resistant material, it'll do the same thing.

I purchased the logos on amazon. The 2 wires from the LED will not fit in my 2013 328i door. The connector has 2 wires so I think it needs some kind of adapter. Couldn't find anything like this online. Well, it only cost $13.

They are cool for a while, but run too hot and the emblem goes wonky. Cool idea, though.

I too have a set from the original group buy and the ///M slide has worn/washed out. Does anyone know where I can order another few sets of these as they are a simple item to replace?

You bought the wrong ones then. The ones designed for the e90 3 series are plug and play and does not require any kind of wiring. You just unplug the original light and plug these in.

If you got this style with wires:
http://www.amazon.com/Vehicle-Courte...ed+door+lights

Those are not the right ones.

In the original post from the OP, it said to buy the ECP projector and not the Naante product. The OEM BMW LED door projector (part # 63312414195) is made by Naante.

I could be wrong, but I'd think the BMW part is going to hold up better over time. I'm sure the parts counter at your local dealer isn't going to want a bunch of returns/ complaints on a $150 led projector.

Has anyone compared the OEM projector to the ECP projector?

I was just curious LOL. Yeah no way I would pay $150. I'd rather just go regular white LED bulbs or lights.

The OE factory ones yes. The aftermarket ones are far cheaper and also noted that the logos distort over time. That said, we don't have a clue if the OE ones do the same.
