Like the title says. What's that one (or more) typo you always make no matter how hard you try to slow your fingers down on the keyboard and not do it, your fingers just wont listen and always misspell.

Here's mine:

1) I always transpose "l" and "d" in words like would (woudl), could (coudl), should (shoudl).

2) "To the" always ends up "tot eh". Example: Let's go tot eh store tonight.

3) "is" sometimes ends up "id" which is super annoying because spellcheck doesn't catch it.

4) The one I'll never live down: I once submitted a cover letter for a job application with the following salutation: "Dear Sir or Madman". Doh. Didn't get a call back.

I can never type "definitely" correctly on the first try. Usually takes me backspacing three or four times before my fingers slow the hell down.

I work heavily with the SEC in my job. Now, take a look at your keyboard and see what letter resides right next to the 'C'. Yup, the 'X'. Now - also realize that by accidentally typing the X, you get a word that isn't misspelled so your auto correct or spell check doesn't pick it up as an error.

Now - realize that many of the reports I type up are 600 or more pages long and probably reference the SEC at least a hundred times. Yeah, now picture having to proof read that. What are the chances that I might miss one or two of those errors?

Yeah.......so.

Certainly true, however, not sure how investment banks and Finance Managers on Wall Street take it when comments about "Sex Regulation: 33-10570 - Modernization of Property Disclosures for Mining Registrants" is listed in EDGAR.

You have to admit - it would certainly pique their interest more than SEC Regulation blah blah blah. Which they would still read certainly, just not perhaps with as much enthusiasm.

On the rarest of occasions do I get it right on the first try. I've come to realize that I may use it too often. Also remediate for some damn reason.

When using the keyboard on my phone, all the letters on the bottom row when used I end up hitting the space bar instead. My fingers work faster than my eyes so I have to proof read everything before I send it. Between accidentally hitting the space bar and auto correct, my texts can end up saying some pretty wild shit.

finger-typos are only the beginning. The real fun comes from dictation errors. My favorite so far was a report I read about a client who "was a neurotic dancer" - probably accurate, but not what they meant to say.

.
I understand those football players in the SEC love sex. Especially South Carolina and Tennessee. I don't see a problem.

Lately, I've been capitalizing the second letter in addition to the first letter when beginning a sentence. THe.........ex.

Totally agree. I always try to add 2 "f's" to it.

Also, I don't think I've ever correctly spelled "original"
