Where did you purchase those? If you don't mind me asking.

Don't do it! I think changing the BMW logo is sacrilegious.

I bought the carbon/silver carbon ones from ebay. Then I covered the silver carbon with white vinyl and had a local body shop clear it in to prevent peeling.

Changing any OEM parts to anything aftermarket is what's called modifying. Something we all like doing to make our cars "ours"

As you can tell by my signature I don't have anything against modding.... I just don't like making changes that don't improve the performance or the style of the car. I personally don't think aftermarket BMW badges do either of the above. I think they just look cheesy... But that's my opinion and you should do whatever you like

+1. if you want to change the look and be able to revert back to stock down the road, you can always get the roundel covers from bimmian.com. they're just vinyl stickers so you can peel them off whenever you want to change the look of your car.

To each his/her own, but I agree.

Completely agree. Changing the BMW emblems is super tacky IMO. Really cheapens the look.

Changing the roundel is... cheap, tacky, what ever you want to call it... It's removing the "class" factor from the M3 that comes with it being a BMW. But to each his own.

Yeah I have to disagree this time. Im actually not a fan of emblems on cars but the BMW logo is indented into the car so its easier to leave it on. I de badged my 328 (xdrive logos and all) I will also be debadging the M3 logo.

IMO: Any car looks cleaner with no emblems.

Same here. If the emblems weren't embedded I'd remove em too. I've taken every ///M and ///M3 emblem off the car except the one on the gauge cluster only because I don't feel like disassembling it. One day maybe. My feeling is this...it's not a "classy" car. A 750 is a classy car. IMO a M3 is a sports car and thats it. Nor do I need to let the world know I drive a "BMW" or "M3" If you know the car then you know what it is. If you don't well then I really don't care.

Exactly. My wife asked me if I would de badge a lambo if I ever get one. Without a second thought I said hell yes I would. If u know what kind of car it is you respect it. If you dont know till you see an emblem go home and google it.... lol

Are we now talking about debadge? I thought you wanted to change the BMW logo... I agree on the debadge. My m3 emblem was removed day 1. As far as I'm concerned, it's inconsistent to state that you remove your emblems for a "clean" look and then swap your BMW badges for cheesy aftermarket replacements. I'm just sayin'...
