Monoball
Are Dinan still the best or do the turner work just the same? I know there were some noise issues with turners in the past, but wondering if that has been fixed. Thanks

Depends what you define best as, in terms of performance the SPL arms probably offer the best performance, the quality of their pieces is also fantastic. They are a great company to work with and their products are top notch.

Are you talking about the front 'brake' bushing?
I have the Bimmerworld version on two cars and they've worked perfectly for years. No noise, maintenance, etc |

Turner ones no good in my experience. Failed after 3 track days. Don't know if it's specific to my setup or if it's product related. Switched to Dinan monoballs and they've been good so far.

The turner ones are supposedly a "2nd generation new and improved" unit. I bought a set when they went on sale for $239. I'm actually just installing them today, just sourcing a shop press from a friend. They look the part, hope they don't fail..

I’ve used the BimmerWorld front lower monoballs on two e92 M3s and a f82 M4. I’ve had zero issues with all three sets of their monoballs. I highly recommend them. At least look into them before you decide on which brand to go with.

German auto solutions deserves a look as well. I recently installed these and construction appears on par with Dinan at almost half the cost. I will report bavk at some point regarding longevity as more miles go on.

The new turner bearing is Black and uses a genuine bmw spherical bearing, it does have an orientation for installation which they highlight heavily in the installation instructions so makes me wonder if people who have Suffered problems pressed them in correctly. They advertise it as no added NVH I'll see how they perform and report back.. always seems to be a lot of hate for turner on the forum it's crazy to me to think a company like turner can't make a bearing correctly? They've had a lot of money off of me in the last few years so if this bearing fails they'll be hearing about it..

I waited three months for the turner ones to be delivered. Ordered them with the holiday sales and only recently got delivered. I pressed them last night and went for a drive today. Steering feels great so far. Maybe I got an old rev? They came in new packaging and shrink wrapped. So who knows. I'll do some driving and report back if there's any issues with NVH.
Edit: so looked into it a bit and the bearings they sold me are the ones that come in their preassembled arms. In this link, https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2...ding-m-models/ they state they would rather sell them preassembled but they are available separately. When I purchased them originally I was under the impression I was getting the blue ones with the screw on retainer. They said something on the phone about "2nd generation" so I assumed since I waited so long that I was getting the latest and greatest. Sorry about the confusion boys. We'll just have to see if these hold up.

No added NVH imo but I'm on much stiffer springs than stock and wider tires as well. I think you're perception of added NVH with these depends on what mods you have. If you have no suspension mods, I'd imagine you are more likely to notice any NVH these may add.
Heck, I added purple diff bushings and have read of diff whine, I notice zero additional diff whine unless I'm between walls at low speed where sound reflects, even then I'm unsure if that is just the gearbox or due to the diff bushings. I've got a catless, unresonated xpipe so if the purple diff bushings do add some whine, I can't hear it or feel it over other mods. Only thing I notice is that if I turn the steering wheel in a certain direction while driving or turning, it is more committed and less influenced by road irregularities. It is a subtle difference but improved.

I have the Dinan ones and love them. It's hard to drive a car without them with all the shimmying the car does in braking zones.
I think I've run mine for a billion track days and haven't had it fail on me yet.
