Coilover Kit - what’s not included

I want to buy the ohlins road and track kit and I’m not clear what I will need beyond what’s included in the kit.

I see a lot of people opt for camber plates, adjustable toe links etc.

But what is actually needed?

They are a bolt-on kit, meaning you don't need anything additional. If you start changing wheels and tires, or go too low, then you may need camber plates and other parts like different front springs, spacers, links.

The Ohlins are designed to re use the stock top hats but camber plates can be added. Other than that nothing else is needed.

I went with the Ground Control plates on mine.

Agree with all of the above. Ground control camber plates pair nicely with the Öhlins kit. They include mounting hardware for the rear upper mounts to accomadate with EDC and non-EDC cars. Another nice addition to make alignment easier is to add toe arms in the rear as well as camber shims. The factory parts use an eccentric bolt which is a little clumsy. Switching to adjustable arms improves upon this.

Is there any extra noise or vibration with the toe arms?
.

My Dinan rear toe links don't make noise.

If you're concerned about noise/comfort, you might want to reconsider front camber plates. They do add harshness to the ride.

Why would they add harshness to the ride?
