Mirror folding issue
The exterior mirrors on my car always fold all the way out past the normal seating position. If I press the button to fold them in they will but once I start driving they fold all the way out. I tried to reset them but no luck, maybe I’m just doing it wrong. Anyone else have this issue? I searched all over the web, YouTube but still no luck. Are my mirrors in need of replacing ? Appreciate any input!

Sounds like the internal gears are out of alignment. Also, you cannot drive the car with the mirrors folded, they automatically unfold when you reach a certain speed.
I adjusted my mirrors when I first got my car. If I remember correctly the sequence is: Push mirrors all the way towards the front of the car (past where they should rightfully sit) Hit the fold button, they should fold in and make a pop noise. Push button again and they should fold out to correct position. If that doesn't work, then they may be defective. |
