The Auto Finesse Hide cream conditioner is a great product considering the price. I tried a test section on my personal car and wasn't necessarily impressed by it. It left the seat sticky and was enough for me not to use it anymore. The seat wasn't greasy at all though

Leatherique

Leatherique works great but i don't like the fact that it takes such a long process for the rejuvenator oil to soak into the seat and that the car would have to sit in the sun baking for a day or 2 and then leaves the seat sticky. Although, the Leatherique pristine clean does a god job of removing it. Afterwards, leatherique really didn't leave the seats greasy.

Just for clarification in case anyone doesn't know this:

Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil does NOT contain any oil. It is simply the name of the product and seems to be misleading to many.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was confused in this thread as I've used it on my steering wheel for years and just recently re-did an application. It looks and feels flawlessly brand new.

It is the best leather system to use on BMW leather. My humble opinion of course, and I have tried pretty much all of them out there as I used to do detailing a while back.

It is a bit cumbersome to use compared to some of the other products, but it works the best.

The Pristine clean can be used as an "everyday" maintenance cleaner as well for the leather surfaces.

I agree, and especially on the steering wheel, gear knob and surrounds. Leather masters left the wheel darker and shiny, the leatherique made it brand new again and you don't use but a small amount.

It gets used on fully coated leather and I've used on black novillo with great results.

I personally found the pH neutral soap great, but the rest is crap, leaves some strange tacky substance on leather.

So I'm leaning more towards Zaino Z-9 and Z-10 or the Cmemical Guys stuff. Leatherique may be over kill and seems to be designed more for "restoring" faded, dry, cracked, and neglected leather.

Zaino smells really good! I did find that it can leave a white residue, but give it a shot.

cg is alright. i'm not 100% sold on its cleaning ability but then again my seats are never that dirty

Another one to try if you want a 1 step application for cleaning/conditioning is 1Z Leather Care - made in Germany for German cars. It is designed for coated leather and it works good. Smells great too.

I still prefer Leather Masters over the 1Z because it leaves a more matte finish but the 1Z is not bad for a one-step - slightly shinier than Leather Masters.

You spray a section of the leather you want to clean and rub the brush in a single direction. Once the dirt starts to come off, just use a damp cloth to wipe down

The Swissvax leather cleaner itself is $49. My favorite alternative is Auto Finesse Hide cleaner as its a 1/4 of the price and works almost as good

Looks like a great product. I'm going to order some and give it a go as my seats definitely need some attention to get them back to looking new.

I just started my leather cleanse using the letherique products. Really excited to see how well they work considering my leather was in pretty good condition to begin with. Hand applying worked pretty well but I think using a squirt bottle to get it onto the leather would be a better option rather than pouring into your hand. I think that's what I'm going to do tomorrow when I use the Pristine Clean.

That's very cool... it's now 8 months ago and my leather looks still amazing with Leatherique,but during the holiday in July ,i will doing a new treatment with Leatherique as a maintenance,so the leather will stay like new
But please post also the result (expierece) of your treatment with Leatherique

I just removed the rejuvenator oil with pristine clean after 24 hours of rejuvinator oil. I gotta be honest, I'm a little underwhelmed. Maybe my leather wasn't really that dirty, but part of me is thinking nothing really happened. I'm going to take pics later on and see what I think then. I think I was almost expecting to find white or red leather underneath lol. Also though I haven't had my car since new, so I don't actually know what its supposed to feel/look like and therefore I can't really say its 'like new again'...just cleaner. My steering wheel and shift knob are still very tacky. I guess I need to use more pristine clean on them?
