Cool SoCal Canyon Cruise?

1 year anniversary of the SoCal Canyon Cruise!!!!!!

Run is Saturday 11-24-18, meeting at 7:15am and hitting the road by 7:45am.

This is a route that was requested a few times during our previous runs. This will take us through some beautiful scenery and amazing roads. It’s a little longer than some runs but should be well worth the drive. With that said we will be getting on the road early. Let’s meet at:

Vince's Coffee Shop, 827 E Main St, Santa Paula, CA 93060 at 7:15-7:30am.

We will be taking a pitstop once we get to the 5 at:

Chevron, 550 Wainright Ct, Lebec, CA 93243

And for those that would like some killer Mexican food the final destination is:

Chabelo's Mexican Grill, 31822 Castaic Rd, Castaic, CA 91384

It will take us about 2hrs to get to the 5 Fwy so make sure you grab some gas and drinks before we get in the mountains.

I will be at Starbucks, 28120 The Old Rd, Valencia, CA 91355 at about 6:30 for those that are coming up from the LA/Valley area and would like to caravan to the meeting spot.

LETS GET OUT THERE AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!

ALL CARS ARE WELCOME, BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!!

https://maps.app.goo.gl/?link=https:...6-19271eb84bcf

Santa Clarita to ACH 2/18/18!!! Little Tujunga is a wild road, one of the few that you need 1st gear for. What a fantastic drive with some amazing cars!!
Santa Clarita Hills 1/13/18!! No one on these hidden treasure of roads and another beautiful Cali moring. Not many places the Verts can enjoy the sun in Jan!!!
Malibu 12/10/17!!! By far the best run through these roads EVER. Thank you everybody for coming out and showing off your beautiful ///M's
Angeles Crest (HWY 2) 11/26/17!! Was Killer, thanks to all those who showed up!!

I'm always game. I've been hitting the Malibu canyons recently and cruising up some great roads towards Camarillo. If we do Angeles Crest, Newcomb's Ranch is always a great drive to and back.

Unhappy

I just found out I tore my bicep tendon out and will need surgery. I can meet up this weekend but will be out for a while after that.. Way too short of a notice I know, wasn't what I was going for... But I should be ok for a canyon run in about a month. Sorry everyone. I say go it for and and post some pics for me. It really is an amazing run!!

I just want to make sure I don't do the same thing lol

I was lifting a 3D printer into a van, guy I was lifting it with slipped and I took all the weight on my one arm. Snap, Crackle Pop... Things to watch out for are sudden movements, don’t try and yank things too quickly and pull your arms in when you fall, sudden extensions can also cause torn tendons. I have had reconstructive surgery twice on my right shoulder from falling off my motorcycle at speed.

I saw an Alpine white with beige interior at the restaurant on the 2. There were a ton of cars and bikes. Saw a few e36 ///Ms as well.

Here are some pics from the run Sunday. Heli' was rescuing a motorcycle rider that went over a pretty gnarly drop. Guy made it out with a broken leg and concussion, actually was upright when they put him in the heli'.
