you 100% sure it doesn't do it while revving in neutral? Or is it just not as loud?

Is the ticking noticeably louder during the cold start procedure?

It's not as loud in nuetral you'll expect it to be like the return of the motor but still noticeable

The drive shaft has a center coupling and bearing which is designed like a CV joint. They are located approximately below the center arm rest. I suspect it is the two piece drive shaft's center coupling.

Put the car on a four poster lift, then with car in gear have someone observe the driveshaft rotation and check for the clicking sound.

Report back when you get a chance.
Thank you I'll look into that
