I bought mine from Turner. I think it's the momo race hub (non crumpling). They have an e9x specific one. E46 one won't work.

Actual product.

Comes with the two plugs to trick the airbag sensor.

On the harness that plugs into the steering column, I had to take the plastic cover off so that it would sit flush.

I have the omp targa wheel and placement is not exactly straight compared to the oem wheel. It's slightly one direction so you'll also have to get an alignment afterwards.

i like the way the m3 wheel feels, but i do like the way the aftermarket wheel makes the stalks look more naked.

The aftermarket wheels feel awesome. I had mine wrapped in alcantara so it feels like I'm driving a gt3

My wheel is significantly smaller so it does make it a little easier to drive. I'm going to put my oem one back on just to mix it up a bit again.

But has anyone seen this picture on Facebook? It's hilarious. He posted when you let friends fuck with you and you don't notice for a week. Or something of that nature.

Quick update on my end-

Getting the BBK installed, Fan Shroud and Aux Fan removed, Spal Fan installed, airbags getting removed and door panels replaced by Hard Motorsport panels.

Hoping for a good track day this weekend with PCA. It's looking like rain on Saturday, if it does, I will need to cancel my event. I had some very bad toe settings that really ate away on the inside of the front tires. Just had them flipped, so if it rains, not risking it as I dont have any other tires at the moment.

It's a cool shop. They race s2000 primarily but also work on BMWs at the shop

Can anybody snap a quick pic of how their hood is mounted to the hinges? I got my new (OEM) hood in and was trying to replace it today only to find out that it has bolts coming out of the hood rather than going into it, and more importantly doesn't line up with the mounting brackets. I ordered directly from the dealership and used my VIN to look up the part number. See pics below of old hood vs new hood. I'm thinking there was some update with the new model years, but BMW didn't change the part number for some reason.

chamba002 and anyone else from around here, hope you and family are safe!! We are good for now but the rain is still coming down, not fun.

Before it got bad I swapped my track pads and track tires on and then figured out how to pull the TPMS sensor and code it off. Something to do when stuck at home at least.

Most important thing though, just hoping everyone is safe!

Thanks for the help with the hood pics guys

I finally figured it out, they did in fact change the part number starting from 12/2011 production, but on RealOEM, they left both the old and new hinges on the parts diagram list for my car (09/2009 production). I should have paid closer attention to the diagram, but who would have guessed they change something like that??

Damn that's a beauty. I don't think MRLG has a skidpad so that's a crucial first project. I can't decide if being close to Laguna Seca is worth being 1.5hr further from T-hill? I guess that also means 1.5hr closer to Buttonwillow... (Living in SJ)

Still seems a bit pricey for Monterey county, that's like a 2.5k sqft townhouse on the peninsula lol also that kitchen is tiny for a 5k sqft house, geez.

i'm cool with it being smallish. i'm after the garage, location, and being far away from neighbors. unfortunately, i don't have this problem yet. i just absolutely loved it.

We are good! Our house is near the med center, but thankfully we didn't get flooded. Some of the homes in the lower areas did get flooded and the most of the roads where impassible. I ended up staying at work for 20 hrs before the other shift came. The doc I worked with lived a few blocks form work and lended me her Range Rover. I have 335i as a daily but I knew that some parts wasn't passible by car. The water has now receeded to its banks and I was able to get back to work today. I know I was very lucky because a lot of people get affected by the floods.

Glad to hear you are safe! And 20 hours, that is dedication, wow!

We are also incredibly fortunate that we didn't take on water, many friends did and had to evacuate, not fun. Just glad we could communicate through all this and watch out for each other.

We donated some items to one of the evacuation shelters, GRB, just the beginning of what this city needs unfortunately.

About to head into work downtown for the first time, have a confirmed path in so should be good.

Hope all of you in the affected area are safe. It's a tragedy for sure. Things like these sometimes put everything else into perspective.
Many of you probably don't know, but I am a refugee myself, escaping war as a 6 year old. There is a lot happening in this world that I can relate to and my only hope is that people find their peace and the enjoyment in life. Speedy recovery all of you down South. Stay safe!

I also wanted to give another quick update as I just got some more goodies delivered. Should give a nice power bump and this officially completes my entire exhaust system.
