Just as an FYI, this is typically an inferred value based upon the pressure. It is the interior air temp, not the actual rubber compound temp you'd measure with a probe. My car has it integrated into the Cosworth PDR and I barely even look at those data channels.

Do some people move to stickier tires, and more powerful cars, and do aero before they should? Sure. That is not the discussion. We can talk about that as much as you'd like, it's a good topic and one of the main reasons people are slow as hell comparatively to the car's capabilities. The discussion is that someone who has done things correctly still is fucked because dot slick manufacturers have fallen asleep so long that tires that can easily be driven to/from the track now have the same speed potential. |

The SC3R have proven to be a mega fast "100tw" tire. The 6th gen Camaro folks are putting down some extremely impressive times (compared to same class cars on hoosiers) would love to see if anyone e9x m3's are running these
My latest experience with Hoosier A7, it's a night a day difference going from scrubs... "scrubs" to stickers. 2020 season I told myself I want to compete on as many scrubs as possible to try and win a full set of stickers. Ended up winning 2 tires, bought 2 more, to start 2021. Scrubs are often labeled as the usual "8-10hc".... but let me tell you, some lasted me half a weekend, all the way to 2 weekends. Coming from RRs, they were still very grippy Now that I've experienced brand new Hoosiers, it's like going from RRs to A7 scrubs! I really didn't think it would be that much faster!! VIR Full in TT3 Trim (no other changes made) RR: 2:06.7 A7 Scrubs: 2:04.6 A7 Stickers: 2:02.x Summit Point Main RR: 1:20.8 A7 Scrubs: 1:19.5 A7 Stickers: 1:18.7 And totally room for improvement on the sticker configuration.. I was really blown away with how much MORE grip there was! While yes, scrubs are fast, and cheap... If the budget allows, just go stickers if you really want to extract the fastest laps (competition... not hpde)

I wish they had sc3r in 295/30. I'd definitely try. Would be cool to get a comparison to A052 and scrub DH single lap speed.

Go supercharger. DCT swap will be too much of a headache for a small performance gain and honestly won't end up costing much less.. |

It'll be interesting to compare the temperature and pressure to when I start feeling the car sliding around. I think it'll be a while before there is a good track setup for the G80 so I'll be doing some street tire experimenting in the rare occasion I take this one to the track. |

Probably not my place to be posting Or pointing fingers
But being a car I built it's sad to see Spl thrust arm let go at T1 of laguna, and sent the car to the wall. But that's what's being said , thankfully everyone is ok, car is replaceable . This isn't the first time I've dealt with nagging issues from spl arms, from tie rods backing out all the way on track to things just coming lose, even after replacing TI hardware I guess just always remember to go over every arm before each event just to make sure. Shit happens. Gonna miss this car |

When I (occasionally) use an enclosed trailer, I take my driver's door off. I'm assuming you still have electronics going through your door, which would make that impossible. If you've already lightened it up, then it's pretty easy to make the doors removable.

Sorry to hear about the car.
Any recommendation for arms that have been consistently good quality with no issues? Last edited by _X; 04-22-2021 at 08:43 AM.. |

Sorry to see StripclubDJ glad to hear you're safe. I hope you're able to salvage a lot from the car.
Very interested to hear SPLs response.
