This is a feeler thread for a friend of mine.
He has a 2008 Melbourne Red E92 M3 w/ fox red interior (i don't think it is extended) with all the toys.

Cold weather
premium, tech
DCT
not sure about HD radio
5k miles
I will give more details once he sends them to me
But basically he bought an X6 and hardly uses this thing
It has 10k miles a year but the car has only 5k miles on it. And the car is about a 1.5 - 2 years old from what I can remember... so LOW miles!

He is looking for 3k and take over the lease payments of 1k a month.
I don't know much about leases so let me know what you guys think

1k a month plus he wants 3k?? Nice car but I think I could get a 2010 fully loaded one for that price.

yeah...sounded off to me. Would it be a better deal if he gave up on the 3k?

yes..i think new m3's (coupe) you can lease around 1.1K with some money down.

And this isn't new... There are some other lease take-overs people have posted that have been successfully transferred. Take a look at those and reconsider

Question for you lease pros: Is it possible to buyout someone's lease? Or can that only occur at the end of the lease?

You can buyout the the lease whenever you want.
