Also, talledega, I've had no issues at all other than I've been beating myself up over what to do about traction. I know I'm going to get some R888s I just don't know if I'm going to get 295/30/19 for the stock wheels and run a little fat. Or get some 18's and run 315/30/18s, of course my daily use will be my DPEs with 305s but IDK what the heck I want to do about traction for track or VBOX pulls.

Anyway here's the video... no cell... just a brake light bulb and low fuel. haha
Can't see the vid.....

IDK I just checked it on 3 computers and my iphone, it's working here.

I know they have been doing maintenance on the site today, maybe there is a problem. Try again now, working on my computers.

EDIT: I just realized, for some reason my computer uploaded the video to youtube as a "private" video. Sorry Biglare! My bad! Should be fixed now.

Yeah, it was the private setting.

Saw it and very cool! Enjoy and be safe out there. S/C M3's are animals!

Just out of curiosity, why would your DPE set-up not be good for vbox pulls?

They will probably be fine as far as traction goes, I'm not sure though, I do break loose really easily with my PS2s even in 2nd when it climbs into the higher rpms. I can roll to 40 then punch it and break the rear loose when it climbs rpms. The 305s will probably hold well enough.

But it also seems that most of the times that are posted for 60-130 runs are with people using lighter wheel/tire combinations and I'd like to be able to post a good a time as the next guy. Also with 1/4mi runs or 0-60 runs I could sometimes get some some wheels spin even when easing into the throttle out of the hole with the 305s when it was stock. I really won't know how the 305 toyos are going to do now with the S/C until i get them on there and run. But until I waste these PS2s I think I'm going to keep them on so I can change them out with r888s if I decide to go that route. And if I don't...I'll have an excuse to spend money on new wheels again for a second set! :P Really a win win situation. LOL Hope that makes sense.

The SES light looks to be disabled, but his car WILL throw a check engine light if he has an issue (ie: idle control valve). To those of you reading this, I have an OE tune, and my idle control valve went south and IT DID throw a CEL light among others.

My question for you, is why all the sarcasm regarding his SES light being disabled? Have you had any dealings with OE? Between you and Pencilgeek, OE has a hard road of hope on this forum. I get that PG has a big problem with OE (and me ), but you shouldn't sit here and stir the pot if you have no first hand experience with this tune.

I sat in Gintani cars when I was in LA

and they had a car with the idle control valve problem and the car did go into protection mode. so basically even if the car is supercharged it still does what it should.

but its a legit question for someone who has not used or studied Gintani/OEtuning products before.

I think its kool to let people know , but I also think everyone has problems with a tuner here or there. I'm sure Gpower or ESS is not perfect and has had problems in the past or maybe even now which we don't know of. But if the person who really did have a problem with whichever tuner doesn't talk about it that means they where taken care of in 1 way or another.

I mean even BMW cars NON modded have problems.

Gotcha, sorry about that . I thought that you had an issue with OE based off of the bullshit that gets slung at them on a regular basis .

When I took my car to the dealership to have the Idle Control Valve replaced, it had all of the usual codes, but nothing that created a red flag with BMW. Also, contrary to what has been said on this forum, the tech was not "specially trained" to look out for an SES light that had been disabled. I was actually standing right there in service when he hooked up to it and read the codes.

Sorry for the little zinger in the previous post. Hopefully this sheds a little light on the subject .
