I use a guy by the name of Josh Ottmann. He is based out of Dallas, but has several clients so he comes down to Houston fairly regularly. His work is excellent.

Cosmin does impressive work but he is currently in Austin and I really dont know of anyone else in the Houston area. I've often considered doing detailing if i lost my job, but as it currently stands i'm to busy to even detail my own car .

I know he is not in the OP's area but I would also strongly recommend Cosmin as well to anyone near him. He did my car before he moved to Austin and did an outstanding job. You will find TLud's and my car in his gallery on his website along with many others.

Sorry to bump such an old posts but... I'm Ryan from Soap Hand Car Wash. Thanks for the kind words. I have had the pleasure of talking with TLud several times at my car wash. Thanks for spreading the word Tom.

If ya'll are looking for a good detail in Houston, I feel like we are a great choice. I once was the proud owner of a 996TT that was tricked out(I spend a lot of time on 6speed) and an Audi S4. I've been nuts about cars my whole life, and started washing cars at the age of 16 when I'd spend half my allowance to clean my '88 black Bronco XLT, at Mr. Carwash and it turned out awful every time. That's when I learned that if you want something done right, do it yourself. I've tried to bring that into my business and I believe we've got it done right. Along with a number of things, like using compressed air to blow out the nooks and crannies after every car wash, cleaners don't wear rings or watches or have exposed belts, using very soft and plush damp Terry Towels, and high end waxes and products, we have a 3 bucket system. It's all explained on our website.

In fact the 3 bucket system was a suggestion of Josh from Ottmann detailing. Josh does consulting work for me every so often. I bring him in and have him help out and look around for a day and offer suggestions on how we can do things better. It's kind of a tug-of-war in a few areas because he has such a huge attention to detail and often focuses on just once car at a time, and we are trying to wash every car under the sun. Still, Josh's help is a reality check for me to make sure we are doing the best we can possibly do to keep your cars clear coat safe and sparkling clean.

If there are any questions, please feel free to call me or one of the Managers, Jared or James, at 713.636.9646. We'll be happy to answer any of your questions and explain how we use products like Meguiar's, Menzerna's, Pinnacle, Lusso Oro, Lake Country, Einszett, and Klasse car wash products.

Thanks,
Ryan
