Front Lip Owners - Input Needed!
Not your typical "does this lip look good thread"
I recently acquired an E90 M3 and the only flaw is a small scrape on the front bumper, just in front of the wheel well on the passenger side and about an inch up. Rather than paying to have it repainted, I was wondering which lips would be able to cover this blemish up. I notice that many/most sort of disappear on the sides of the front bumper so they wouldn't cover up the problem. Any suggestions? The 3D Designs lip is a possibility, but I'm not sure I care for the looks.... |

I have the same issue and had the same thought when I first bought the car. Upon further thought, I realized that every lip that cover that area doesn't compliment the lines of the front bumper, IMO. I now have an Arkym lip and plan to have the spot repaired.

So what lips cover that area besides 3D Designs?

It looks like the OEM front splitters have a lip that comes up just a bit on the sides. It might be enough. Does anyone know exactly how much they come up? |

I just looked at my OEM splitters and it looks like they will only cover about half of your scratch.
I do however have a great idea...Remove the bumper, get the scratch fixed and while its off get the reflector holes filled asap! You can thank me later! |

+10000000 Filled greatly outweighs painted reflectors and they would end up spraying that section anyhow to blend it....
