When to do alignment

Hey guys when is the proper time to do and alignment. I get news wheels and tires put on tmrw and wanted to know if I should be doing and alignment as well. Car has 20k miles on it. Thanks in advance !

Does your car pull hard to a certain side (more than what the crown in the road will cause)? How is the wear on your existing tires? Was the wear created from poor alignment or non-proper tire inflation. Just some things to ask.

On vehicles I have only one set of tires for, I get an alignment everytime I put on new tires, which is ~25-30K miles. I don't want to screw up the new tires.

I'd get it done.

Get an alignment every time you get new tires. Alignments should be treated as routine maintenance.
