Dropping Price Again!

The m2 won't arrive until December so I am not in a huge rush. The dealer where I am buying the car is an M Certified dealer, and they happened to make the second highest offer I received. I can sell the x pipe, amp, kidney grilles, and side gills for around $2,250 or so.

The thread has gotten a bit clogged, so the current pricing may be unclear, and I will drop it slightly more.

$39,000 with x pipe, amp, kidney grilles, and side gills returned to stock. Buyer is still getting the oem carbon fiber mirrors and splitters, clear bra, tint, ceramic coating, IND gloss black badge, and Dinan DCT flash. These add up to around 6k! Also the BPM tune which could be adjusted to match your current and future mods. KBB excellent private sale is 37k.

$40,000 with the challenge sport x pipe included along with above

$41,000 with x pipe, and Match PDP 82 dsp/ amp combo, oem black chrome kidney grilles and gills, along with above

Forgetting about color combos, here are the prices of all 2012 e92 m3 of similar spec to mine. None of them appear to have any mods. Yet everyone says my price is crazy.

2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT@ BMW dealer 30k miles, $40,000 price

2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT@ Non BMW Dealer, 48k miles, $37,000 price

2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT @ BMW Dealer, 39k miles, $42,000 price

2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT @ Private Seller, 41k miles, $43,000 price
Not to kludge up your thread but I think the point your missing is that mods don't increase value. In fact in many cases they decrease value. When I purchased my current car it being BONE STOCK was a huge selling point to me. So if you want value for your mods take them off and relist the car as stock. I've sold 4 M Cars in the past 5 years which were all modified but super clean. I had no traction until I sold them stock and got within $500 of asking each time.

Also were any of the cars above in a collision and have body work done? This also lowers the value of your car a tiny bit even tho minor damage.

Happy to sell the car bone stock. Buyer's choice.

The mods that cannot be removed are all cosmetic and preserve the condition of the car. And they are all OEM parts. Most people end up running the s65 m3 catless with a tune. If someone intends to run that set up they are saving a ton of money here. I thought it was an enthusiasts forum! It seems every car on here is tuned or supercharged.

Regarding the minor scrape, neither Carmax or the three dealers noticed or devalued the car because of it, but it does make an impact. The difference with the cars referenced is above is any damage would likely never be disclosed, unless you have a paint meter.

Also measured tires tonight. Rears are just under 8/32. Fronts are right at 8/32nds. Wear is perfectly even- alignment was done recently.

Michelin PSS in 255/35/19 F and 275/35/19 R.

You putting up these figures without any knowledge of vehicles history and condition are pointless btw.

Seems like your desperate to sell your car but you want the premium asking price. GL though.

Not desperate to sell car. Desperate to be done dealing with people on here offering me less than what I was offered on trade in lol. Hopefully she is gone this weekend. I’d be surprised if any of the cars I listed above are as clean as mine and have service records from day one. I’m seeking roughly 40% return of mod value if sold as is.
