500-$600 if I remember right, doesn't include the V1 ($400)
so much tr00f in both these posts.

and for the price for a V1 with a stealth install like that, i'd rather get the Escort and hardwire one of the portable models OR get a Qi-45 like mine and call it a day.

Havent heard of that happening yet... The springs are made for the car... No custom bumpstops, or software, or shocks. But I have never bottomed out, or felt any issues. If I keep the car after the lease, I would prob replace them with new shocks, or do coils.

Since aftermarket springs are shorter than OEM ones, the spring rate is different than OEM springs and your shocks/struts will blow out in time. It's inevitable.

^^^ Being inevitable is not 100% true. But it def can happen. Like I said, I have not heard of this happening on the forums yet. Im sure it has. but its not common.

Im not worried.

Just watched the vids. Wonder what the 335 has in it. Even if the M3 driver was an idiot the 335 is very quick. Makes me want to get a blower. LOL

Yes it is if the spring rates are different than the OEM spring rates lol. I have many friends who have had this happen to them as well as friends who are engineering majors and have explained this to me in detail. This has also been documented on many, many car forums.

My guess is that the H&R sport spring rate is very close to that of the stock M3 spring rate so your shocks will last much longer than, say, H&R race springs paired with standard 3 series shocks.

It's very easy for a 335i to destroy an M3 if the 335i has a tune and the M3 is stock.
