I remember many a days like that in Alberta having lived there for many years, it was always the first few snowfalls I feared the most with all the fender benders

I am winter driving this year. Raised the KWs up and put on snow tires. So far so good here in the little bit of snow we have had!

So I decided to jump in a Lotus Exige for shits and giggles..took me less than 10 seconds to decide I will NEVER buy one. If I can't get in and out of one at my age now, I cannot imagine how difficult it would be in 10-20 years.

Did the Turbo S have the sport bucket seats? Regardless, I can jump in and out of a GT3RS all day, but this Lotus had me struggling.

Haha, Duncan ..I might look young but my body tells a different story. It wasn't that I couldn't get in and out, but I couldn't do it comfortably...having the door opened only half way doesn't help. But regardless, I would never be able/want to drive that car except on weekends/track.

Wow, great picture. I can't believe you put 30,000 miles on a Lotus Europa.

It was my DD during the non winter months and that itself with the mechanical challenges that car had.I became a master of finding parts as everything was adapted from some other car.The engine was big valve Twin Cam Lotus-Ford which made me very good friends with guy who owned the machine shop.Dropped valve seats, head gaskets were the normal reasons to keep pulling it down to fix.It would lose oil pressure on hard right hand corners which took the lower end bearings out.It was a challenge to own

A Normal view of this car

I've reduced the price of my car again, it was just serviced and is ready to go. If someone buys it soon I will also credit for shipping costs.

Dropped off my car and said my final goodbye, today. I'm in a rental, 2011 Chevy Impala, until Monday when they can get me into something else. I now understand why the saying "it's still a Chevrolet" exist. The fit and finish is horrible. I cannot believe this car cost $27XXX base...WHO BUYS THIS STUFF? No wonder they were in the shitter. On the bright side, I feel like I'm one of those undercover police cars.

Too funny. I had an Impala as a rental car when I was in Florida for a few weeks last winter, I thought the exact same thing... what a piece of junk! Pretty sure they only make the Impala for either rentals or police cars.

Anyone that would buy one of those land yachts by choice needs their head examined.

"Happy" 37th bday to me too bad I'll be at my wife's grandmother's funeral....

It's times like this when you realize that you must live for the moment and not worry about what will happen when you are gone.....

Raise a glass for Ivka Kovacevic.

Sorry for your loss, I will raise a glass of red this evening for Ivka. You are quite right about the moment for they say ...

"live each day as if it is your last for one day you shall be right"

... meanwhile my friend enjoy life and the finer things in life like your M3 for some say ...

"the last shirt has no pockets" ...

and not to forget ...

Happy 37th Birthday to you

... 37 was a good year the one I was born in
