Does anyone know if PCA/CCA/etc will have an open track days in fall? (S.Fl)

Summer is about over (weather wise), and trying to plan my fall track season... however, I wanna try out PCA (porsche club of america) or BMW CCA events in either Palm Beach International Raceway (Morosso) or Homestead, rather than the chin motorsports or similar HPDE events.

Does anyone know the PCA/CCA "open" schedules for PBIR and Homestead?

any help is appreciated.

I remember checking the bmwcca schedule and seeing no events at pbir or hms at all for the year. Not sure about pboc events.

Any particular reason you want to run with those two groups instead of the others?

the chinmotorsports and similar have too many "kids" with riced out cars that have no "etiquette" when doing HPDE's. I've done a few and it's always the same.

The PCA races have always been great in my experience! good laps, good cars, respect on the track, and great fellowship all around in general.

I have been running with HOD for about a year now, and haven't had any bad experiences. I've always left the track satisfied with the day. Of course there is the occasional person that doesn't give a point by right away, or Ferrari race car that just blows by. But all in all, things run smooth on and off the track.

Check the events in the Florida section.

Let me know when you plan on going and I'll probably go as well.

You are going to have to go to Sebring, which is a good thing. Suncoast/Sunshine BMWCCA chapters Tamp/Orlando usually does a Winterfest event in mid January. Enrollment usually opens in October. I dont believe any BMWCCA chapters organize events at PBIR or Homestead anymore, just Sebring. I'd rate BMWCCA at the top followed by PCA, HOD, and finally Chin. Erme is another one that I have heard good thing about but cant comment on. Good luck!
