May 6th @ 9am, Monthly M3 Cruise & Lunch

This past Sunday, despite the heavy downpour, 6 brave M3 owners (and friends) cruised up PCH to Neptune's Net for lunch and good times. It was a great group of people with lots of laughs and a positive vibe. So, we have decided to start a monthly car cruise for all of you M3 (and 1M) owners in the LA/Orange/Valley areas, starting the first weekend in May. Here are the details:

Sunday, May 6th @ 9am Meet at the West LA Park (the address across the street from the park is 1436 S. Sepulveda, Los Angeles, CA - map below). We plan to leave there at 9:15am sharp so don't be late! From there, we will cruise to our destination (TBD). When we arrive there will be planning out the 2012 summer cruises. In June and July we may up the anti and do a couple of longer road trips; like Santa Barbara, etc. Hope to see you on May 6th!

Funny you mention Santa Babera, I will be taking my yearly cruise up to Santa Barbera along PCH on May 1st

A group run up there would be fun, as would a group cruise to San Diego

So much fun on the last one... I'm scheduled to be out of town on the 6th but I'm gonna see what I can work out. Yesterday was the most fun I have had with my car in a long time...hate to miss the next one...

It was definitely a great time! Wait until its a beautiful sunny day and there's 15 cars!

This thing is fast approaching! Anyone have any ideas for a cruise destination? Malibu? Camarillo? Orange County?

I like OC. Camarillo is pretty far for no benefit that I can think of. Malibu is ok but could be pretty crowded on a weekend and isn't that far away from the meet point for a real cruise.

Plan a drive out to Palm Springs... thats where I will be this weekend (hence the reason I cant make it)... but if you guys come that way I can join in...lol. And I will be there with another buddy of mine with a black e92.

The wheels will be on by Saturday. I have no idea when I'll get the other stuff. It's all still up in Canada trying to get through customs. Such BS but it will be worth it when it gets here. BLK Diamond is set to install that stuff for me the second its in.

If you guys decide to take a drive to Palm Springs for the May cruise, I might be able to join you (I'm out in Riverside). If you guys are waiting until Sunday morning to make a choice, then it might be tough to join you last minute.

Im still debating on it... and after getting pulled over this morning, I am leaning on not giving the cops an excuse to ticket me for exhaust mod... maybe I will do the oem mod still and at least i can argue with the cop that its a stock exhaust. This cop this morning would have loved to have seen a modified exhaust he could have got me for.

At one point he basically did a 360 of the car looking for something illegal... thank god he only saw the driver's side... (all my illegal stuff is on the passenger side, lol)

good thing you figured out S-6 over the weekend. that'll keep the cops off us.

I might come to this. Just depends on how I feel that day really. I'm not to keen on driving on Sundays. To many idiots in cars and bikes not to mention cops on the road.
