Stock vs. BBK upgrade

What are the benefits from the BBK? Are they really that much better than stock to justify the massive price tag?

I have been looking into getting a BBK, but I simply cannot get myself to spend that kind of money without proof that it's worth it. I searched the forum but couldn't find a comparison of stock brakes vs. Brembo or Stoptech, etc...

Also, I overheard a vendor talk about stock brake warranty that BMW now offers that they didn't in the past, which has caused his aftermarket BBK sales to slip. Not sure what he was talking about. Any ideas?

This topic has been discussed quite extensively here on the forum. Try using google to search the forum instead of the (crappy) built in search function. Just type some search terms, use some clever booleans and then add "site:m3post.com" at the end of your search. Cheers.
