Interesting, thanks for sharing these pictures.

I lifted at T1 yesterday..Big mistake. Not sure why I did it. All day I've been #fullsend through T1 but AIM solo showed I dropped briefly to 80% throttle right at the peak of the crest..and that was enough to take out the rear.

Damage so far during inspection:

Undertray is gone, lip is damage, bumper has cone marks, center grill is damage. front wheels inner barrels are scored from gravel stuck beteween the stoptech calipers and wheel. Front passenger wheel wont hold air due to tons of gravel in the tire bead.

Overall, very happy the damage was minimal.

Damn! Nice save, thought that was going into the wall. Good awareness and steering.

Damn dude. I saw that in IG and figured there was oil or coolant on the track. You're very fortunate to not have wall contact!

Yea, it was very hard to tell what happened in the video.

From the video, it looks like I didn't go far right enough and preposition the car for a straighter line over the crest to set up for T2 braking zone. The lift of my throttle exacerbated the rear unloading at the crest and I had just enough steering angle (12.5 degrees of left angle) to make that rear swing.

The previous lap, the PS4S were also getting hot, this was going to be lap 11 of the session.

I did these today too except on 380mm stoptech st60's. Mine go more into the hat but these should still help. The vanes in the back should allow more air to be pulled through by the hat

Crushed my previous lap time at Eagles Canyon this weekend by a full 2.5 seconds -- now down to 2:06.70. Same set of tires (Proxes RR) and everything else, and I somehow was 2.2 seconds faster in the very first session of the weekend. Haven't dug into the data too deep, but picked up time pretty much everywhere. Managed to knock another 0.3 seconds off in the next session.

Having found that extra time, I used Sunday to finally put PTM into Race mode and get comfortable with not having the safety net anymore. I was about 1 second slower, but was definitely leaving time on the table because I was being timid in a few of the riskier corners. Most of the understeer I had been fighting vanished in Race mode, which I consider another huge win for the weekend.

Only had one big spin that resulted in some light yard work. :-)

Will post vids later.

Video from my last session of the day -- lost about 10 minutes in the grid mid-session when a Lizard Green GT3 RS had a tire blow out.

Will post the PDR from my fast session later.

Heh yup

Great save. Never, ever stop driving the car.

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about when I say the PS4S is an edgy tire.

Dunno, it's one of the instructors. I didn't get a chance to talk to him. It had a matching orange cage in it, I wonder if it was an LRP with the GTS cage? Kelse92 do you know someone in Texas with an LRP?

Might keep my E88s instead. At this point I just need to get rid of one set.

Have my RIA listed in classifieds.

I'm not familiar with the car but it could be one of CHIN's travelling instructors. They have a few few that just do as many CHIN events as they can around the country. I have heard of one other one showing up to an ECR Open Day but it was in the Novice or Intermediate group.

That is Dan. Super cool guy and an awesome build. He gave me a ride along and also instructed me a bit at my first CHIN track day. I think its a 6spd cammed 4.0 with 3.62 gears/LSD, 2 or 3-way shocks and a bolt in roll bar. Also has some huge 8 piston brakes that were from some UK company.

I'd ditch the E88's unless you have money for spare parts.
