ESS Supercharger and Vortech Race BOV question
I'm looking for a more definitive answer regarding this set up on an ESS Supercharged kit.
https://vortechsuperchargers.com/pro...ant=7813347329 Above is the exact BOV. I read in a few places on the boards that to use this BOV, I should run the high tension spring. After receiving the kit, it only came with the BOV, mounting hardware (gasket, 2 bolts). There was no additional springs or change of springs that I saw anywhere. The summary itself states that it is pre-set to 5-7 inches of vacuum. Other posts stated the high tension spring, which is for -17, is what we use for these cars. I feel like I have something backwards or maybe I'm missing something here. Is this something we have to use the adjustment for? Is this more just a plug and play? If anyone can prove some help, that would be awesome! |

Should be a plug and play BOV, I was also debating on getting this for my VF kit but I like the noise of the V3 si S/C and the system from what I read from VF & ESS its better off on a BPV for our cars.

If your car is DCT it will sound like the car has asthma. I ran a Tail for a day I could not take the sound. I have since just taken of the return hose and added a filter to the inlet. It's not as loud as the Tial but I can hear it.
