how often will u guys be changing the oil??
I know BMW says every 15,000 miles. But I think that a lil too long to go without changing the oil.

The M3 uses a "Conditioned Based Service" system to determine the interval. The default is around 15k miles, but if you drive it like it's meant to be it is likely to be less (around 11-12k on my E46). I try to do an additional change at the mid point. That will now be more of a hassle without a dipstick to use the MityVac with. Got to jack and drain!

i've got year round 30+ degrees C weather. I do mine every 5000km cos the oil's the lifeblood of the car, especially since it's a high performance engine...
