Window creaks

Anyone have this issue? My car is an E90 and the noise is similar to my old E46 convertible window creaks. I dug up an old thread over at M3Forum that I had saved in an effort to fixing the issue on my old car and here is the recommendation to fixing window creaking:

"any polymer type wax will work. Just wax the top 1" of your windows inside and out the same way you would wax your car. Wipe it on, let it haze and wipe it off. It takes just minutes and should get rid of the majority of squeaks."

Rejex was the recommended polymer wax for this application.

Any thoughts?

What are the symptoms of "window creaks"? Is this the weird high-pitched but faint groaning noise you sometimes hear? If so, I get it at low speed, especially while turning or changing direction.

If that is indeed what's happening, then yes, those waxes would work. My S2000 had to occasionally get the rubber gaskets waxed along the top of the window. They had a particularly good branded grease/wax you could try -- it was called Shin Etsu silicone. I also have the Einszett rubber/gasket treatment if you want to borrow it. I only use it on the door, trunk, and hood gaskets but I had never thought to try it on the windows.

If its the same I get, a light touch of grease on the "filt" very top sealing/cover will make it silent. I do it maybe twice a year, works perfect.

I had this problem recently and found many recommendations for "Gummy Pfledge". I bought some on ebay and coated all my rubber seals. Problem solved!!

x5. Amazon should sell some Gummi Pflege. I almost became the felt monster and almost started tearing my whole back deck apart. Tried GF around the door and window seals and NO MAS.

Stuff is amazing.

The Gummy Fledge is what I mentioned up top, but the applicator sponge that's attached to the bottle is a joke and usually breaks off after just a few uses. I would suggest using a rag instead.
