Guys,
I have to take a moment to brag on Alex @ Alpine. Not only does he do a great job with remote coding and flashes, he spent hours - HOURS - logged into my race car last week helping me diagnose a very tricky ABS issue. He went to great lengths to help me, and ultimately found the solution. He is extremely knowledgeable and talented, and patient! I can not give him enough praise.

just got my dyno done today, been driving around with this tune for about 1000 miles
I live in Washington and occasional drive down to CA so Alex gave me 3 octane files for 91, 92, 93. WA has 92
Good numbers IMO, the only thing that has changed from the first to last dyno pull is adding the tune.
Everything else is a stock intake, OEM filter, stock exhaust except iPE F1 muffler
318 to 342 HP
241 to 254 torque

24 HP on his engine tune with now real other HP mods. That's awesome for the money.

Wow!! I'm impressed!! I've been thinking about pulling the plug on a tune but wanted to pay a reasonable price since I may supercharge later on down the line! I may look into this tune!

Very nice gains. What number run were each of the peak runs performed on? Also on the dyne sheet, the sock run shows SAE: 0.96, while the tuned run shows SAE: 0.98? I'm not an expert, but i'm curious what changes the correction factor? Is it due to the slight variation in temp and humidity?

The torque curve (flat line really) of this engine just makes me smile.

I'm not an expert on these sheets either, no clue if SAE is a factor. But each of those runs were the very first ones. No warm up runs, just got them strapped in, run the tires a bit to make them dry because PNW roads are moist this time of year.

Just to add, I've had the car flashed since Dec 28, 2017, Dec 27 was the last day it was on a stock file. I had it flashed to 93 octane because I forgot to remind Alex we only have 92 here and I was about to do a road trip to NorCal the next day. So I drove with 93 octane file on 92 fuel from WA for however long it took me to get to Weed, CA, that was 2 fuel stops of 92. I had 91 file in my computer but I didn't reflash at all between 91 or 93 octane on my 2500 mile total trip because I didn't want my wife in the car bitch about "THE CAR IS BROKEN WE'RE STUCK AT THE GAS STATION". So I drove from Weed, CA on 91 octane with 93 file. Drove around Norcal for 5 days on. Came back to WA. And not once did the car lack performance. No engine start hesitations, no bogging transmission, no SES lights. I've only had the car for 2 months that time from Hawaii. So that road trip was its road worthiness test. It has passed ever since.

Until my battery died (5 yrs old, doesn't like warm to cold climate) on me in the middle of the road but totally separate from the Alpine flash.

Good information here. Thanks. Seems to me like the gains are definitely there! Just ordered my Alpine tune this afternoon!

Gains are there for sure! and I can vouch that going from stg 2 mods with no tune to stg2 WITH a tune (Alex's tune) makes a world of difference. Alex, can we get an e85 tune now??!??!!

Many customers in UK with our tune. 97 & 98 Ron is no problem. Also you have 99ron at some shell stations, have a tune for 99ron also.

Hey guys, heard a lot of great things about this tune. So I'm going to get it and put it through a test, since that's what I do. I'm a car junky and look at cars holistically when I mod. I am always thinking about the car as a system...figuring out the weak points and trying to improve on them.

I just picked up a 2012 e92 DCT which is all stock except a Borla ATAK cat back. I have started testing the performance on the vbox. So far have only had the chance to do some 0-60mph pulls but perhaps this weekend will try 0-100, 60-130, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, etc.

I am getting new tires soon so I will test with the new tires as well. Thereafter I will be getting the 91 tune from Alex (through MRF Engineering), along with the GTS DCT tune and Euro MDM. Then, I will test again.

I have tested on the dyno before with my previous S/C e92, but this time around I'm simply going to leave it to performance tests.

So far I'm at 0-60 in 4.2 seconds which is pretty much what one would expect for a stock car. But conditions weren't great and I'm hopeful to get that number a little lower before getting the tune and further improvement expectations.

Will check back in later with results.
