Plenum removal help

I'm at the point where i need to loosen the 8 clamps but I think this needs to be removed or loosened for full visibility. See picture circled in blue. I removed the 4 t30 screws. Does it now just wiggle off or something? I didn't want to start pulling. Thx in advance.

No. Leave it alone. You don't need to remove that

Agree. Just need to get down horizontal with the bottom of the plenum to see the clamps. The back ones can be difficult to see, but it is possible. I always feel they are farther back than I where I imagine them to be.

Thanks. I can see the 4 clamps on the driver side. How about on passenger side? I cannot see all clamps as the circled item is in the way.

Never messed with that either. I could reach the plenum bolts/screws with a long extension.

I used a socket instead of a flat head screw driver. To me it was easier

you just lift it up off of that thing. there are two things towards the front of the plenum you need to unhook, and one hose on the driver's side rear of the plenum to unhook.
