I have a Brembo GT or GT-S set in 365/345 on my car. I can’t remember what IND had installed on it.

Edit: GT-S

I fucked it up.

Was adjusting door detent (lock strike), and decided to remove it to inspect, then the internal part (I don't know the name, but it's the part that's got the threads for the bolts) fell down inside.

Someone please give me guidance to access it.

Edit: solved.

Started on my winter project, overall suspension upgrade and refresh:
  • Solid subframe bushing
  • Poly diff bushing
  • Rear suspension arms
  • Front monoball
  • Front and rear suspension bushings

Was able to remove the subframe on my own without any hiccups or issues. I decided to fully remove the hub and axle from the subframe prior to dropping the subframe since I am going to be replacing all the rear arms and bushings.

Pressed out all the bushings and stripped off everything from the subframe yesterday and sent it out for powder coating.

Since I got no taker for my stoptech bkk, this week I'm going to install the anti-knock back springs and rebuild them. As well as a deep clean of the underside of the car while everything is removed.

Wow, big project. Looking forward to more pics, or maybe even separate thread?

Still can't afford bbk so put on two piece rotors from paragon instead. My 3 track days per year will be well worth it.

No wiring or electronic skills are needed for this install at all, I recommend a good trim removal tool to pull apart your dash though. My install involved having to plug in a 3.5mm aux input into the port in the centre armrest, so I pulled the centre console up to cleanly route it around the gear selector and iDrive controller. My car also had the optional phone mount installed, so that was ripped out so we could get access.

Only other tools than a trim removal set would be some torx bits to remove bolts, I think all we used was a T30 bit, but doesn't hurt having a set on hand. And a philips head screw driver.
It was a bit of pain to push the radio headunit back into place because there isn't room behind the unit for the extra loom cables for the install. After a lot of back and forth and pushing the cables out of the way, we eventually got it to slide back far enough to put the screws in.
How’s the sound? I bought one very similar to this and it lasted a year or so before I put my CCC back in. The music was pretty flat and baseless for my tastes, I tried to get used to it but just never sounded right to me.

They’re from Zeitgeist Automotive. They’ve only made 2 sets in this style and another set on an E46 M3 but more CSL than anything. The design is like a 3 pc with an M359 face! It’s got hidden hardware.

Changed motor and transmission mounts, with only 40k on this set. I didn't expect them to be this bad, but dang the car drives a lot better now with the engine connected to it. Went with stock mounts but I'm wishing I went with solid rubber ones.

Yeah, 30-40k miles seems to be the life span on the OEM mounts. Some go longer and do ok but your experience not uncommon.

I'm running poly mounts. They took some getting used to and have broken in over time - but they give the car a little more visceral feel - transmitting a faint vibration at idle to the cabin.

Got my e90 back out on the road after a time-sert repair of the rear oil pan plug with stripped threads. It was a little dicey making the repair with the pan in place and the car on jack stands, but followed the advice of others to use grease to capture aluminum flecks. You have to take caution to ensure you are drilling perpendicular to the pan which is a challenge on jack stands, to be sure - but I used a level and seemed to do ok. The device seats by flaring out the internal end of the sleeve and I think I missed that on the original install - which led my plug to not be fully seated and resulted in weeping. Once I got that addressed by running the plug in fully and torquing to 25 Nm with a digital device, everything set up perfectly.
