Would G80 M3 OEM Carbon Bucket Seats Fit In E92 M3?
Hey guys, currently an m240i owner but looking to switch to e92 m3 sometime this year. After driving my buddies I decided the sound of the s65 is worth more than the extra power and low end torque of a F or G generation M3/M4.
My only desire cosmetically with the car is to refresh the interior. I want to install the AutoTecknic gloss CF trim package as well as carbon bucket seats. I am absolutely in love with the new G80 M3 OEM cf bucket seats but was worried they might be too large for the cabin of the e92 m3. Do any of you have any insight on this--as to wether they would fit or not? Thanks

I think it’s too early to ask this question since not really anybody has the car

I am certain some of the functionality won't work such as the side bolsters. They are pneumatic on the new seats. As for bolt in, time will tell.

Meh. I think the F80 seat conversion is a more suitable upgrade that doesn't look out of place. I feel the G80 seats are too much of a departure from the prior generations design philosophy. But what do I know. Style is subjective.

You aren't going to be able to get your hands on the parts for a long time anyways. Ask again in a year after a bunch have been crashed.

depends how much money you have lol.
In all honesty you would be better off with Recaro Podiums ($6k a pair) or Recaro Sporters ($4k a pair)
