How good is Carly for BMW?

Seems you can't do much of anything with the free version except check that it can connect to and read your car. Did quite a bit of coding options, ran thru all the diags, cleared some codes, etc in about 30 minutes. Probably wont touch this thing very often now unless I get an error message.

I think it only needs Internet when you launch the app for the first time. It asks you to "activate" it, which requires Internet. After that, it does not look to use any data unless you use the digital garage option, which is kind of cool actually.

Never seen that either Aus. Done some coding inkl the light module without any issues.

Here the latest news regarding the amazon availability of
IOS WIFI adapters from Carly :

All Carly adapters arrived at amazon.
Amazon now needs to list them.
To sum it up, its anazon's turn to get them back in stock.

As stated before:
It's a matter of time, in other words patience is the key.

I couldn't wait. I tried ordering through the Carly website only to fail there as well. When I put my Canadian address in it came up with an error asking for my state to be filled in. Unfortunately there was no field to enter a state or province. So in the end I had to resort to using a German relative's address. No problems there. My Carly is shipped and I am waiting for the relative to send it to me now. A little more work than I would expected but I couldn't wait for Amazon.

Hopefully your german relative used the 5 Euro coupon code wich works for Mercedes Benz aswell as for BMW.

Would be nice if it gave you max speed, max RPM, times hitting redline, etc.

The multiple VIN and mileage check seems really cool assuming the bloody thiefs can't program that too.
What would be Super Cool is to have number of red line Counts rather than the average speed which says...nothing really.
