I Love my M3

There... I said it. Since the appearance of the E30 M3 I have been waiting to get one (M3). I love my 2011 M3 E90 DCT, Space Gray/Fox Red, 220M wheels with mods described in my sig. What's gonna happen in the future, I dont know. But for now, what I do know is that this is the best car for me at this point in my life. Feel free to share your M3 (whatever generation) experience/thoughts!

I think the same thing everytime I get into drive the M each day. I'm just amazed despite driving this car for years, I still can't get over how amazing it feels to drive this specific M car. I just love it.

That's one of the things I wanted to state. Couldn't say it better! Thank you!

Yeah, I know what you talk about, but whatever, that awesome V8 muffles all that stuff!

Bought on reputation alone(been in E46 a few times). Didn't test drive any of the competitions either. Took a leap of faith. One of few instances a gamble has paid off. Couldn't be any happier with this car. Keep driving!

GIDRIVER I can totally relate! One of the guys I went to HS with had an e30 and I still remeber the first time I saw an E36. I lived in NYC from 2000 to 2006 so a car wasn't an option, but in 2006 my obsession with the E46 began. Due to life circumstances I wasn't able to get a BMW until about 2 months ago. My intention was to be reasonable with my money and get a 2008 G37 at around $25k. One of my co-workers said "GO BIG or GO fHOME...just get the M3". So I made a poor financial decision and spent
$43k on a 2009 M3. I now use the car as a DD and have perma-grin.

Talking

I probably owned my car shortest (13 days to be exact) compared to most/all of you guys - but I am loving my car!

I didn't have this feeling when I had my 2006 330i (Manual) or any of my previous cars!

It's great! Except...feeling slightly at the pump since the gas prices are going up every freaking day in Cali...

Still have a grin everyday

OP, you are not alone. Not even the M3's penchant for visiting gas stations dampens my enthusiasm. Sometimes, one simply has to ignore the minor things and enjoy the many major things that abound in this M3.

It's called "Pure Driving Pleasure"...the e92 M3 really is the "Ultimate Driving Experience"....if you enjoy driving it has to pretty close to one of the best driving experiences....the chassis balance, the point accurate steering, the sounds (induction and exhaust)!!!...this car puts a smile in your face every time...and the looks only second to the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the lines are magnificent "an athlete in a tuxedo"...it is mean while elegant...

It is a nice car for sure.

I also have a 2006 330i a few years back.
