I am wondering what is included in the executive package for 08 canadian spec sedan? I picked up mine today and I did not see garage opener and rear park distance control. or is it just my memory doesn't serve me right

Should have that, the Individual Audio and rear windonw window shades. If your car doesn't have those things then it doesn't have the executive package - hopefully you didn't pay for it.

I wouldn't feel bad about not having it (except for the money thing if that applies).

The Logic 7 can be upgreaded at Bavarian Soundwerks for way less than the individual audio and is probably a better set up anyway.

The one thing I miss is the garage door opener. Don't really miss PDC, side shades....how about a light window tint?

I am going to double check the PDC today since I did not get to spend too much time with the car yesterday. Is there a button in the car to turn the PDC on or?

I did a research on the garage door opener and shows the Canadian Executive Package does not include that for 08 models. But will be included in 09 Executive. Not really a big deal but surprised that such an expensive vehicle does not have that.

I got the dealer to throw in a new review mirror with homelink.. I think he just swapped it off another car with it.

Just went out to drive and found out that the Engine Oil Level is too high.... popped the hood and some oil is leaking out. I guess monday will be my first visit back to the dealership within 48 hours after driving it home@@

Which package has keyless entry and start? I have all the above plus keyless entry and 19 inch wheels.

I have to say I love the PDC , adjustabel seat width and I always use the Power Fold Mirrors.

From what I have read, comfort access (keyless start) and Blue tooth are standard in Canada, and only options in the US.
Can anyone confirm?

Comfort access and Bluetooth are standard in Canada for the M3.

The only options not included in any packages are...
-High-Gloss Shadow Line
-Universal Garage Door Opener (only for 08 models)
-Novillo Leather (includes extended version)
-Electronic Damper Control
-19" Wheels

On a side note, on the M3 brochure, it listed the glass sunroof and the interior trims (carbon leather and sycamore anthracite) as optional equipment, yet there were no charges on them in my invoice. So I don't know if they come standard in Canada or just NC options.

BMW M3 Coupé
Along with outstanding performance, the new M3 also provides some outstanding new value as seen in the
new standard features that were historically optional or not available (equivalent prices in brackets):
BMW Assist with Bluetooth wireless technology ($1,100)
 Comfort Access ($750)
Adaptive Headlights with Cornering Lights ($490)
 Aluminum Shadow Trim ($450)
 Ski bag ($230)
 Satellite radio pre-wire ($150)
 Servotronic ($350)
Note: Leather is now a $1,200 option on the new M3 Coupé. The new standard upholstery is the Speed
Cloth/Leather combination, which provides even greater grip for high performance driving.
In sum, the change to standard equipment is valued at $2,320. When combined with the new price, this
represents an increase in customer value of $5,420. Moreover, this does not even take into account
some of the technical improvements in the vehicle, including:
 4.0L eight-cylinder engine
 414hp and 295lb-ft (+81hp and +33lb-ft vs. MY06 M3 Coupé)
 0-100km/h in 4.8 sec. or 4.6 sec. with M DCT Drivelogic (–0.4 to –0.6 sec. vs. MY06 M3 Coupé)
 Power-to-weight ratio of 4.06kg/hp (–0.59kg/hp vs. MY06 M3 Coupé)
 Carbon Fibre roof
 Dual-Zone Climate Control
Light Package, including exterior handle lights and interior ambient light strips
 Auxiliary Input
