Mountain run
Spent a beautiful weekend in the pisgah mountain area and took a little video of us running the snow lined roads. Hope you enjoy.

Doc Oc- I was finally able to get my M3 out of the garage today and took a drive to Cashiers. The roads were salt free. There was very little traffic and we were able to stretch our legs a bit.

I love the roads in the Cashiers area, the wife and I spent a week at Lake Jocassee last summer and driving around that area was a blast.

We turned back about 5 miles before highlands.....now you guys got me wishing' we'd gone farther down 64. I think so far I've enjoyed 215 from waynesville down to the BRP more than any other road outside of the tod. Great scenery and an awesome mix of switchbacks and sweepers.

The Waterfall Highway west of Highlands is a lot of fun. It's 12 miles of Hwy 64 that runs with the Cullasaja River as it drops about 1800 feet in elevation. The pavement is fresh and the curves are well banked. There are four major waterfalls including Bridal Vail Falls where you can drive your M3 under the falls to get a great photo!
This morning Highlands had seven inches of rain and it made for a very busy waterfall. The drive under was barricaded just like last week when we had 14 inches of snow. But on most days it is open.
