I think partially one's perception of the GT4 wing comes down to which version you buy. In addition some people confuse the GTS with the GT4 wing too, although it's reasonable because they look very similar (end plates, mounting/brackets are not very different).

GTS wing is 120cm wide. GT4 is 140cm wide - I've even seen a 160cm version on some European sites as well.

IMO GTS wing looks weak on the E9X platform, and M235ir wing is preferred to that. But 140cm GT4 wing is just perfect in my books. All personal preference of course.

Easiest way to tell is the GTS wing roughly aligns with the edge of the truck cut-out. The GT4 wing extends past that line.

The euro rate still was pretty bad almost 2 weeks ago. I paid 1600 EUR for the one wing, the whole piece is 2x2 weave aside from the aluminum stands, uses m6 bolts. I've contemplated getting 160 cm so if anyone is interested in this one. I have another 140 cm wing anyway but that's forged carbon. It was a prototype and I asked for it. It didn't come with winglets or stands. Which is fine. I can cut up a winglet and I'll just purchase another set of stands. I'll post more pics of the CF wing later on. I bought it from a shop here in Germesheim faserschmiede carbonmanufaktur

You can see from the pics, there are dimples from the finish and it needs to be sanded, cleared and polished. I was going to wrap a portion of this to match alpine white and get to where the looks are compared to the green Schirmer e90

No, was just curious more than anything as to what kinematic they'd offer. But those "releases" don't bode well.

Was no secret they were only going to release the BS stuff we can already get from other manufacturers at an increased price. They're definitely keeping the real sauce for clients who come to them seeking a full build.

I don't think there is any "real sauce". This is just like Dinan back when the E36 was new. It's a bunch of marketing. There is nothing wrong with their parts except they are highly marked up.

Seeing their youtube videos it looks like they build quality cages, etc, etc, but nothing above the level you could find at many of the well respected shops in the US.
