Hello all, I purchased this Xpipe with HFCs brand new, and it has less than 2K miles on it. This was professionally installed/uninstalled at Mporium and has been carefully stored since removal. It is in great condition and HFCs (lowest part) show no sign of major scratches underneath (my front lip is another story). I think this xpipe, which is essentially the Challenge sport xpipe (rebranded as RKP), speaks for itself. IT will come with with the gaskets, bolts, and clamps for a complete package. Reason for selling: I decided to swap to my OEM x-pipe with test pipes, because I liked the way it sounded better with my Harrop-Corsa combo on the E90. Currently, I would prefer local pickup, but shipping is now possible. 1475.00 shipped to CONUS. Thanks for the interest.

Curious on the Harrop-Corsa set up.
I just installed my ESS 625 kit, and have seen people going back to the OEM x-pipe with test pipes (which is what I currently run). ESS says the OEM x-pipe is great performance wise, how do you compare the two? |

I've been through a bunch of combinations over the course of two E9x M3s. My prior E93 (R.I.P.) was fitted with the ESS 650; I ran the Corsa with a catless setup and then ultimately back to OEM (no TPs). I also had the ESS HFC actually which is a great pipe, but for some reason sounded a bit off to my ears. A little too raspy/"tinny" at low RPMs to me. I wonder if the HFCs affect the sound with that setup. With the catless setup, it sounded great but ended up being too loud / smelly for me.
On my now E90, I moved to the test pipe setup/OEM pipe and think it's just the right volume and melody for me. The Harrop whine seems to be pronounced <2-3k then the exhaust and supercharger induction crescendo above that with increasing boost. It sounds glorious. I think completely catless it would be too loud for me/my neighbors. That being said, I don't have the weight reduction with the aftermarket pipes, but the sound quality trumps the weight savings here for me. Everyone's ear is different but this works for me. Hope that helps. I'm sticking to this current setup for now.
