A/C Issues...

So let me start off by saying that I just moved to Houston. As many of you may know, the weather is slightly unfriendly and takes some getting used to.

With that being said, my A/C blows cold air, but it doesn't seem like it's working as efficiently as it should. You can hear the fan working, but the air that comes out doesn't come out very cold nor does it really cool down the car. However, sometimes the air does comeout cold and works just fine. So...I'm kind of confused .

I've heard of evap. problems, and I fear it could be that. Is there any way to check or is there a better way to diagnose the issue?
