No I did not. I actually gave the dealer a call during my lunch on Monday to ask about the availability and at first they had no idea what I was talking about when I said "Lime Rock Park Edition". Eventually when I said "the orange one" they said "Oh that one. It's no longer available." They never specifically said it was sold, but I'm not going to push the issue. Whoever I spoke to was really off-putting.

I'm not hung up on missing out since I just started my search for an E92. I'm fully confident something better will pop up in the near future

EDIT: Meant Tuesday. Holiday plus early morning is throwing me off lol

Because I've always wanted one. Isn't that enough? It's like saying "I don't know why anyone would want a classic Ferrari when they could get a new one." It's desirable for a number of reasons, many of them personal or sentimental

good luck man.. the timing is poor however.. demand seems > supply right now so if you insist on buying one ASAP, you will get raped a little.. but hey cars are never a good investment anyways. I'm sure more than half the people on this forum made bad financial decisions buying this car because we are enthusiasts and love our e9x m3's LOL

Thanks! Haha I know I was just talking about this with my dad last night. I'm like 6 months too late for an E9X and 8-10 months too early for an F series M3/M4. I've wanted an E92 for awhile, but like you said I may have to pay a little more to get one in the next few months. But it doesn't hurt to see the money pile up in the savings account in the mean time

Good luck with the sale! Personally think $80k is too high but you never know...

Not saying you won't get it but the Lime Rock car that started this thread was listed at $78k but did not sell and was eventually dropped to $71k. It sold shortly after the price dropped though we don't know exactly what it sold for.

Your asking price... Anyone in their right mind wouldn't pay $80K on a car that comes brand new for $75k with 0mi. Given the fact that yours is used with 6k miles and you are bumping it up another 5 grand? Get real... special edition/ special order or not, you are not going to get $80k for it, sorry. If you had a 2012, i'd give you $63,000. If you had a 2013, I'd maybe give you $70-72,000 and that's pushing it.

First off you said 75k? your 10k off the original msrp. mine was 85k not including taxes. Besides it sold so it doesn't matter.

First off, I could give crap less how much you paid for it. Second, MSRP does not mean a thing. You are selling USED, not new! Your car doesn't retain value soon as you drive it off the lot, it depreciates. Assuming you had a 2013 and loaded with 6k mi. it is no where near $80k. I feel sorry for the shmuck who paid that much. Good job on ripping someone off! You both, are equally retarded.
