Drl's not working with oem rear fog switch

all my bulbs work in every setting and light position when lights in auto and drl's selected in i drive my angel eyes don't turn on, my friends in his e93 do, his angels come on 24/7 whenever he drives his car and thats what i want to happen. anyone have any ideas. I wanna tell my dealer but i feel they are gonna tell me its my AIB's or the euroswitch causing somehting!

any help is much appreciated thanks.

Switch the drl back to stock see if its happens
