I'm sorry to say but I would take them off if it's mine for 2 reasons:
1. fitment of the diffuser (at the each end) is pretty bad
2. you have one of the most desirable exhaust (BMW Performance) in the market and because of your diffuser, your tips looks very pushed-in and hiding the prettiest exhaust tips with M engraving logos.

Thanks for your comment, I also didnt like the way it fit, there is a gap with the bumper at each end
It is also true that it totally covers the M logo on the tips
I think I am going to take it out

A friend of mine bought it in Spain for his E90 and didnt fit in his bumper, it was made for the E92/E93 only so he gave it to me, I dont even know what brand is it, most probably a replica, I thought it was going to fit OK but after installing it I didnt like how it looked

fitment on the sides is pretty bad... agree with the above comments. I'd ditch it!

cf diffuser

Well, first off ...nice car . The paint is so reflective you can see everything including you taking the pics . As far as the diffuser goes, its like any other mod...You have to like the look and if you like it then go for it. That being said, there are certain looks that have broad appeal and others that don't so if you ask for opinions on here, you will get just that. I would agree with the other posters that the fitment is suboptimal. It seems that the ends are not quite long enough to blend with the bumper and the way its contoured at the ends is a bit weird. Personally, I like the smaller diffuser myself and think it probably is easier to fit to the bumper. Another thought, if your trying to achieve a specific look, you may want to coordinate things, ie: front and rear spoiler/lip/diffuser. So, if your adding a rear CF diffuser, are you putting on a front CF lip/spoiler and/or other CF mods. If not, the rear diffuser may just stick out and look odd. If I were you, with that beautiful color, I might look at getting front and rear spoiler/diffuser color matched.

I posted a couple of pics of my fr/rr spoiler/diffuser set up for an example. I opted for CF which I thought matched well with the Space gray metallic. I also changed the grill and gills to CF... Just some ideas...

Hey Richie, thanks for your comments, I totally agree with them, I got this diffuser from a friend of mine who owed me some money so I never really wanted it, I installed it to see how it looked and after installing it started to have some doubts about it and wanted to hear some comments before taking it out, all comments have been negative so I took it off right away, but you are right, the main issue is that I dont think jerez black matches with carbon fiber, I like your front and rear spoiler/diffuser but would like to have them in jerez black to match my paint, I have the side gills in jerez black and they look nice, the thing with the rear diffuser is that as some member posted, it hides my exhaust tips which is something I dont want to do and I think any rear diffuser will do that so I guess I will stay as I am with no rear diffuser
BTW your car looks great!

Thanks Edu!

In regard to your exhaust tips, I'm not familiar with those BMW performance mufflers. Are the tips welded in place or clamped on? My Akrapovic's are clamped so they can be adjusted for angle and length. If you can adjust the tips, you may be able to bring them out into view more with any diffuser you get. Also some diffusers stick out more then others thus hiding more of the tip. Of coarse if you wind up not putting on any diffuser it may be perfect. Initially, I got the diffuser for two reasons, one was to hide a bit of the stock muffler which hangs kind of low and I think takes away from the look of the back of the car ( the older M3s didn't have this big tubby muffler like that, don't know why they changed it). The second reason was I wanted some balance and continuity since I put on the front lip. Now I have the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust on and the mufflers are beautiful titanium and tucked up nice under the car so...go figure lol. Mine does hide the tips a bit but it looks more OEM IMO that way.

adjustable tips like akra and AA work well with diffusers since you can adjust to fit well with diffuser but BMW performance tips are not adjustable so tips always look shorter behind the diffuser.

Hey Rick, I also thought that this diffuser will somehow hide the exhaust canisters that hang very low but now since I will not install a rear diffuser I am thinking on black ceramic coating those canister to make it a more uniform look from the back
As Isugoo says my tips are not adjustable so I must forget about rear diffusers

Sounds like a good idea. Throw up some pics when you get that done. I'd like to see the look.
