Skyline Run VI - November 13th

I drove a portion of the (possible) route on Sunday. The views were spectacular! But I kept getting stuck behind cars on this new route. I'm not sure what the traffic is like on a Saturday though, I'm going to see if I can do some more recon. Another issue is where to start to have the best road/traffic ratio. At this time I'm thinking about starting where we did last time, driving the same route into Front Royal, eating at Melting Pot Pizza, and then taking a completely new route back to Northern VA. Or we start with the new route and end with the old? Pics coming soon...

On an even more exciting note, I need to drive into southern WV on Saturday. So of course I'm going to scout out roads the whole way. If things look really good, I'm thinking of organizing a 2 day driving event for next year. That one will be free.

I vote for the same route as the last skyline. Minimal traffic + loads of twisties + no cops =

Do you guys think there will be another Skyline Run after this one? I'm supposed to getting my M back from RRT today but I have a feeling that's not going to happen. Plus it wouldn't be wise not to give it a long break in sesh before going on a run.

U should be good for this bro. Just drive a lot in the few weeks before, 1k break in is easy in a few weeks.

There are a couple reasons for this, one of them being that it keeps track of names and donations so if anyone gets audited (which I'm sure they wouldn't care about a $50 donation, but if they did) I can easily pull up proof of donation.

As for the route! We start where we did last time, running the same route as last time but having lunch at Melting Pot Pizza in Front Royal. Then it's a completely different route through a valley that we've never driven and over two fun mountains. This will be the last run until next Spring and should be another amazing one!
