that's where i'm at right now... when my dealer realized i was serious about going through a third party they very quickly went into the: "lets see how aggressive BMWFS is willing to get mode".

they make the majority of their money on financing... so perhaps they will play ball... but perhaps not.

[QUOTE=LeaseCompare;2343755]This is the kind of rate information I post on about 15 different automotive forums.

Just curious, would you be willing to share the names of these other 14 forums?

in any case, again i said this before, make sure you get other options other than BMWFS from the dealer. he should give u 3-4 options. Wells Fargo, US Bank and others.

Yes Sir any previous BMWFS customer, also Sign up for bmw CCA (car club of america) and have at least a 1 year good standing membership and you can get a pretty good incentive on your next bmw(at least 500 or more depending on the model)

We also provide specials for returning customers and you don't have to lease the same make .

We do appreciate the opportunity as it will keep us around so there is an alternative to the manufacturer (captive).

Thats what I thought. But a dealer told me that I would have to have a car financed or leased through them within the last six months. I haven't a car financed with them since 05.

no, you dont really *have to* but being a BMWFS customer for the past 6 months = automatic approval.

if what he told you is true then no one can get a BMW unless he had one, or he pays cash?

That sammy guy sounds pretty shady! Honestly I would not deal with a CA like that. My CA has been straightforward and after learning I have been shopping around stepped with to the plate and gave me a very competitive offer. My terms are different, so you are paying only 2000 drive off? I have a $5281 drive off 3948 taxes 275 processing fee 1058 1st month's payment. here are my terms 0 down 48 months 12k miles a year.

i never put more than 2k or 3k max for drive off, just in case car is stolen/crashed i'd lose that money. besides i'd rather keep it in my bank.

if that is the case you rolled in the tax into the leased amount you got a very good rate, mine is .003 and a 43% residual, your payments are still less than mine. my msrp was 65800

Interesting, zigy zagy? I wonder if the BBB thinks this as they are a customer of LeaseCompare.com.

Let me also comment on the "shopping" part. We provide our free lease quotes up front for all to see without visitors having to provide any information but their zip code. I know this makes it easy to ask your dealer to match or beat our quotes. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't/won't.

Please help keep this service free and in business by giving us the opportunity to write the lease even if the dealer offers to match it. If someone is willing to give you their best deal up front, why not give them the business????

Thanks in advance for the consideration.

well with an attitude like that i'd be happy to give the lease to someone else even if i pay more!

the only problem im having with "shopping" around right now is i do not want to run my credit too many times.
BTW, do you mind briefly outlining the steps involved in the entire process of getting a lease through leasecompare?

Lease Compare is right. If they are the ones willing to give us the best price upfront then why not give the business to them. If it wasn't for them then we wouldn't be getting a better price.

This is where my concern is, will the dealerships give you a hard time when you do a third party deal? It seems like Mantis's dealer is doing that.

That would suck if they do. Maybe Lease compare can answer that question for us. Lease Compare can you tell us about your past experiance with these type of dealers ?
