Is the CPO warranty transferable, was talking with a couple dealers here on the East and West Coast and they stated that BMW changed their policy on allowing transfers of the CPO warranty between private parties as of January 1 2014. They stated only a dealership can give the CPO stamp.

CPO warranty is still transferable from private party to private party. The change you see is between non-authorized BMW dealerships to a buyer. I've been through a lot of these questions and have contacted BMW directly about all of this to clear it up. When they first posted this on their site they made a few mistakes, and are starting to hear about it from CPO owners (me included) because of how they worded the change. Cars enrolled in the CPO warranty prior to 1/1/14 do not apply. Since this vehicle was enrolled prior, it will always be able to transfer. I can give you contact information from many people @ BMWUSA if you would like to talk with them prior to buying.

(As far as the change going forward for those who are looking to purchase freshly CPO'd vehicles from BMW just be forewarned about the transferability when they are sold. See below.)
All vehicles ENROLLED and RETAILED by a BMW dealership after January 1st, 2014 will fall under the CPO warranty failing to transfer between parties UNLESS buyer purchases car from a BMW Dealership, or private party. The CPO warranty can be transferred for $200.

So yes, this warranty will always be transferable to any party since it has been enrolled prior to this change, with $0 transfer fees. Feel free to call/look at BMWUSA's website for clarification.

Everyone in the video has owned install businesses for years, all of which are certified professional installers by Arlon Graphics with impeccable resumes/reviews from customers. I would highly doubt there are any marks.

With that said.

If the buyer wants me to take the wrap off prior to selling, I will definitely do so. With a detail as well
